The northwestern region of Argentina is famous for the canyon landscape called Quebrada. My friend Juli spent some days in this dry, but colourful region and came back with some interesting shots.
Horseriding through the Quebrada canyon; through riverbeds and mountainpasses. In Tilcara there is probably just one local guide that operates these tours.
There are car wrecks all over the place.
The mountain village Purmamarca serves as the gate to the famous Cerro de los siete colores (Hill of the seven colours). The hill is famous for the region. It displays seven different colours due to movement of tectonic plates and marine sediments.
