The sculpture showing the Condor, Puma and Snake are probably one of the most present souvenirs and evidence of Pre-Colombian heritage you can find in South America. I put together some information on the value and believe of Indigenous peoples it is attached to. Incans were masters of warship and used to allow and integrate religions of defeated tribes.
A religion with multiple gods responsible for various domains developed just as we know it from the Romans or Greeks. Inti for example was probably the most important and the god of sun which explains the vast presence of Quechua words connected to him and events as the Inti Raymi throughout South American countries. Some of these gods were told to exist in one of the three parts of the universe. Therefore the Condor represents the upper world, whereas the puma symbolises the middle world and the snake the underworld.
